Restore Deleted Contacts from iCloud
This method works on the pre-requisite that you have synced contacts on iPhone with iCloud. You could check if you have enabled contacts in iCloud and have a try.
- Turn off Wi-Fi connection when you find contacts are lost on iPhone.
- Head to "Settings" > "iCloud", turn off "Contacts" and choose "Keep on My iPhone".
- Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi and switch on "Contacts" again, tap "Merge". The contacts on iPhone will merge with those in iCloud. Check whether your deleted contacts is back on your device.
Get Back Lost Contacts from E-mail
If you have configured e-mail account in "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" and synced contacts to your account, you are able to find your lost contacts in E-mail.
- Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, tap on your E-mail Account and check if "Contacts" is turned on. If yes, you have created a backup in your E-mail.
- Log into your E-mail and click "Contacts" to check your contacts backup. Find if the deleted contacts are there.
